The Story

The story as it is shown in the revised animatic, is about a woman entering an elevator. The elevator stops, a 3D character “Mr. Smith” enters the elevator, and stands beside the woman. The woman looks at “Mr. Smith” surprised. “Mr. Smith” looks back reacting to her expression with dismissal. She tries to leave the elevator, but there are more 3D characters going inside, and she is forced into the corner. The woman is afraid (there is a shot of her hand holding the railing). The elevator stops at the lobby and all the characters and the woman get out. There is a dissolve, we have a 360 shot of the woman in a street looking around her. The street looks different- there are 3D characters walking around, and the signs and advertisements are more brightly colored. She is observing a parallel universe. Another dissolve and we are back again at the elevator, exactly as the first scene, but there is a man standing there. The woman enters the elevator and he looks at her surprised. The camera zooms out and we see that the woman has 3D ears, she has started to transform into one of the 3D characters.
